was pointed out to Terry that the website had not been updated. This
was due to the fact that Richard was unavailable to advise of new
password. This will be rectified.

SOCIAL
ACTIVITIES: There is still a need for a volunteer to chair this
committee. Terry and Jeanne agreed to fill in as temporary hosts during
the summer while the club seeks a replacement.

progress of acquiring more keys for dance hall.

installation).
GOLDEN
DAYS DANCE: Terry

to co-sponsor a Golden Days dance. They are willing to include
our July 18th dance in their advertising for $30.00 (the vote
was unanimous to do so).
TANGO
WORKSHOP: After discussion about the proposed Tango
workshop with Frank and Janice it was decided that weekend classes
would be the best option.
Henri Etta will contact them with a proposal for three classes on the 12th
and 13th of July with Janice making own travel arrangements.
NEW
BUSINESS:
MINI
LESSON PRIOR TO DANCES: Don
suggested that we start offering a 30-minute dance demo and review
of steps designed as a refresher for those who
have taken the lessons and as an incentive for those who haven’t.
A different dance would be covered each time. The board authorized
payment of $50.00 to the instructor for each session. It was also
suggested that the Zimmermans be contacted to do one session, and
that Jerry Blemke be contacted to fill in at times when Rulon is
unable to be there. Don volunteered to speak with Rulon about this
and to bring a report to next month’s meeting.
DANCE/LESSON
CD'S: Jim has talked to
Kurt about making music CD’s for our dances and practice sessions.
It was agreed that Kurt would be paid $300.00 to produce a total

the possibility
of the culinary school cooking for us.
